Blue Screen, 1999
Two physically-identical ightboxes positioned across the gallery entrance.The bright white light from one unit overpowers the pale blue light from the second unity and makes it appear unlit/disfunctional. When passing between the two boxes a person's shadow falls on the second unit, revealing the blue glow.
Materials: MDF, sandblasted glass, blue-filtered fluorescent light.
Dimensions: each lightbox 30" x 6" x 8".
